The End of the HCG Diet

If the dieter still has more excess weight to lose at the end of the HCG diet, then they may want to go through another cycle of the diet. However, it is important to go through the maintenance phase before starting the cycle with the loading phase again. The dieter should not continue taking HCG and following the 500 calorie a day eating plan for longer than is specified in the protocol, even if they still want to lose more weight. They will need to continue into the maintenance phase and then start again from the beginning of the HCG diet plan.
